On Tuesday , a strong earthquake shook the coast of southern Mexico , and its tremors were felt in Mexico City hundreds of miles away. Its intensity was measured at 7.5 on the Richter scale.
According to the report , the tremors were so severe that people were forced to come on the roads and a tsunami warning was also issued. However , no casualties have been reported so far in the quake. The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor in Oaxaca, according to the US Geological Survey.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he had not yet received a preliminary report on the damage , but was still waiting for a report from the mountainous state of Oaxaca. Let me tell you, Oaxaca is known in the country for its coffee production , beach resorts and Spanish colonial architecture.
