Rain with thunderstorms in many parts of Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Today, after about 10 days, the atmosphere in the city has changed. It is raining heavily with strong winds and thunderstorms in many parts of the city.

It has started raining with wind in Sarkhej, SG Highway, Sanathal, Vejalpur, Prahladnagar of the city. While the atmosphere in Bopal-Ghuma, Jagatpur has changed. Megharaja is batting in areas including Thaltej and Vastrapur.

There are reports of drizzle in Maninagar, Hatkeshwar and Winzol. While roads in Shahpur area are flooded. The state meteorological department has forecast moderate to heavy rains in Ahmedabad for the next 48 hours.
