Something similar has happened with IPS Shalini Agnihotri. Let us know how the daughter of a bus conductor became an IPS officer. Shalini never thought of becoming an IPS, but an incident in her life showed her the way to become an IPS.

"Once she and her mother were traveling in the same bus," Shalini said in an interview. In which his father was a conductor. He said my mother is there. A man was sitting behind his seat. After which my mother requested that he remove his hand from here. But the man did not do that. The man misbehaved and said, "Are you a DC (Collector) or should I believe you?"

I was a girl at the time. At the time, I thought, who is this DC, with whom everyone agrees. “I got a lot of information about it when I reached tenth grade,” Shalini said. After which I thought I would become a police officer.

From an early age, Shalini was good at learning and was good at everything. Her mother said she was playing hide-and-seek with the boys. When I said that girls don't play Lakhoti, they told me, no, mom girls can play this game too.

Shalini is a resident of Una village in Himachal Pradesh. In a small village, parents often worry about their marriage when the daughter is young, but Shalini's parents have always encouraged her to move on. "Even though my father was a bus conductor, he did not leave any flaws in my education," said Shalini.

Shalini Agnihotri appeared for the UPSC exam in 2011 after 18 months of preparation. During IPS training, Shalini Agnihotri got first rank in the 65th batch. His first posting was in Kullu.
