At a time when the spread of the deadly
corona virus is on the rise across Gujarat, the cost of testing by a private
laboratory is Rs. The test charge of Rs 4,500 has been reported to be too
high compared to other states. If this rate is reduced then more people
can take advantage of it. Ahmedabad Medical Assoc. By CM, Day. A
written representation has been made to the Chief Minister and the Front
Secretary of the Health Department.
Corona testing used to cost Rs 4,000 which
has now been reduced to Rs 2,500. The test will now be done in a private
lab at Rs 2,500. If you come home and get tested for Corona, you will be
charged three thousand rupees.

charges are not so high," Desai said.
9000 for two from the same
house. Happens. Now that Corona is moving towards its peak, this test
should determine fair, realistic and reasonable rates without profit. For
this a fixed rate of 2000 to 2400 can be fixed.

The Gujarat government's new alchemy to
reduce corona cases in Ahmedabad, the hotspot for the largest corona virus in
the state. His secret seems to have been revealed recently. The Ahmedabad
health department has reduced testing in the city to reduce corona cases and
death ratios in Ahmedabad. According to current information, a total of 5,000
tests have been conducted in the city in the last one week. This means that on
an average, a total of 700 tests have been done in a day in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad is witnessing a significant decline in the number of corona infected
patients due to declining tests. The government's new alchemy is endangering
people's health, with the number of coronary heart disease patients in the city
falling below 250 in the last two days.
In the last one week, it seems that the
health department has thought of a low-level alchemy by reducing corona testing
in Ahmedabad city to control the rising number of cases of leprosy.
At a time
when the health system is already reeling, once again an average of 5,000 tests
have been conducted by the system in the last week, putting a big stake on the
health of the people of the city. On an average, only 7,000 tests are performed
in a day in the city, which has automatically brought the number of cases and
death ratios under control.
Notably, in Gujarat, only 2.5 lakh tests
have been conducted in a total of 81 days from March 19 to June 7, against 4
lakh tests in Tamil Nadu in just one month. Not long ago, Gujarat was second
only to Maharashtra in corona positive cases. But today, Gujarat is ranked
second, followed by Tamil Nadu and Delhi. The main reason behind this is that
the number of tests has been increased in both these states. In Gujarat, 13,472
new positive cases have been reported in a month, while 26,938 cases have been
reported in Tamil Nadu and 23,838 in Delhi.
Gujarat used to have the second highest
number of cases in the country after Maharashtra but at present it has
overtaken Tamil Nadu and Delhi. However, the number of tests in these states is
much higher than in Gujarat.
On May 7, a total of 1,00,553 tests were conducted
in Gujarat to identify corona positive patients out of which 6,625 positive
cases came up which was second in the country. The number of tests in the state
had reached 2,51,686 and the number of cases had reached 20,097 by June 7,
against 13,472 new cases, which were followed by 1,51,133 more tests in one
month.
In Maharashtra, 1,89,220 tests were
conducted till May 7 against which 16,758 positive cases were
reported. However, a further 69,217 new cases were reported in a month
with 2,44,843 tests. In Tamil Nadu, 2,02,436 tests were conducted till May
7, out of which only 4,829 were positive cases, followed by 26,838 new cases
with 3,90,534 more tests.
Apart from this, 77,234 tests were conducted in
Delhi till May 7, out of which 5,104 were positive cases. Later in the
state, more than 1,74,681 tests were conducted and 23,832 new cases were
reported.
