Result / Results of 4 seats of Gujarat in Rajya Sabha elections declared, BJP won 3 and Congress won 1 seat

Ever since the Rajya Sabha elections were declared, the BJP-Congress had made a desperate attempt to win their candidate. Then the polling continued from 9 am to 4 pm today and finally the result was declared in which 3 candidates of BJP and 1 candidate of Congress won.



It may be mentioned that in today's poll for 4 seats of Gujarat Rajya Sabha , both BJP and Congress had expressed hope that their candidate would win. Then BJP's Abhay Bhardwaj, Narhari Amin and Ramilaben have won. So Bharatsinh Solanki from Congress and Shaktisinh Gohil out of Shaktisinh Gohil won.

Let me tell you, a total of 104 votes have been received among the 3 BJP candidates. In which Narhari got 32 votes, Abhay Bhardwaj got 36 votes and Ramila Ben got 36 votes. Speaking of the Congress, a total of 66 votes were cast between the two candidates.

 In which Bharatsinh Solanki got 30 votes and Shaktisinh Gahil got 36 votes. Shaktisinh Gohil's victory was assured and veteran Congress leader Bharatsinh Solanki lost the election. Out of 66 votes received by the Congress, 65 went to Congress MLAs and 1 vote went to Jignesh Mewani, an independent.

Opposition raised after Congress vote

The Congress had protested before the counting of votes in the Rajya Sabha elections. BJP objected to MLA Kesari Singh Solanki's vote and also objected to Bhupendrasinh Chudasama's vote.

Proxy voting of 3 BJP MLAs Today 3 MLAs voted with the help of aides. Balram Thawani was also brought in a wheelchair and cast his vote. Matar MLA Kesarisinh Solanki was admitted to the hospital with chest pain. He voted by postal ballot. As one vote is important to win the Rajya Sabha elections, those who are not in good health are also being voted by proxy voting. The three MLAs include Parshottam Solanki, Shambhuji Thakor and Kesarisinh Chauhan.
